My buddy Armando is a coach, entrepreneur, father, husband, physical therapist and personal trainer. He’s prioritized those as the important areas of his life that he wants to evolve in. Since they are so important he has set a handful of daily minimums to evolve in each of those areas. He’s made the tasks so easy and so no brainer that even his critical brain can’t rationalize that they are too daunting to accomplish. In other words, no matter what happens he knows he can do them daily.
As of todays writing he’s on 406 days of…
– Non-negotiable family friday funday
– 40 breath meditation
– 10 minutes of movement
– Contact 3 people
– Write 50 words
– Make 1 video
– Read 5 pages
That’s well over a year of these things stacked up daily. What do you think his results have been from stacking up these habits over this period of time? Now imagine not doing them, stacked up over time. Great habits are like compounding interest in your 401K or bank account, while bad habits are like compounding interest on your credit cards over time.
Your habits really become you. You see you don’t need to think about habits. The mental and physical energy that is required to get one started is menial. You just do it.
These items for him are just that, a habit. Can you personally imagine what you could accomplish if you had this same kind of non-negotiable habits formed leading you towards your own goals and results?
If I had a penny for every time I’ve heard “I wish I would have started this earlier” or “I used to do (insert disciplined food or exercise habit here)”. Are you in that scenario right now? Make today that day that you start the new chain of stacking positive habits in alignment with what you want to accomplish.
Get rid of the mental chatter about it. Remove the energy of wasting your time fighting whether you are going to start it today and spend that energy on the actual process. Just create 4 different habits that are so easy that you don’t have to expend that much energy to do them. But, make sure they are directly in alignment with your desired outcome and results you want from your life. Start today and chain those habits together over time until you create the life you want.

– Something nutrition related
– Something exercise related
– Something mental or personal development related
– Something that develops you professionally
Don’t be the person that is the “I wish” or “i used to”. Be the person that says “What I do is” and no brainer your way to Mind and Body Transformation Success.
